The Basics in Sector Specific Training

  1. CARE – Covering mental health, working in care homes, bullying, manual handling.
  2. SECURITY – CCTV, physical security, conflict resolution, licensing law England, arrestable offences, drugs awareness, emergency procedures, searching & offensive weapons.
  3. RETAIL – Customer service, money transactions, team working sessions, dealing with complaints, stock taking and rotation.
  4. HOSPITALITY – Food hygiene, customer service, team building, dealing with complaints.
  5. CALL CENTRE – Telephone techniques, dealing with complaints, IT skills, including word processing.
  6. FACILITIES MANAGEMENT – C.O.S.H.H. Control of Substances Hazardous to Health and B.I.C.S – British Institute of Cleaning Science
  7. CATERING – Food hygiene: cooking, chilling, cleaning and food labelling, health and safety, customer service, stock taking and rotation.
